Privacy at Ponto

What we collect
Ponto Cozinha stores your account name, email and a password hash, your preparation, ingredient checklist, timers, preferences and selected recipes. Support requests include the email and message you provide.
Using Ponto in ChatGPT
When you connect your account, we receive the tool arguments needed to find recipes or manage your preparation. The connection does not send your Ponto conversation history to ChatGPT. Ponto does not receive your complete ChatGPT history. Authorization codes and tokens are stored as hashes and access is limited to the permissions you approve.
AI and service providers
On the website and PWA, using AI or voice sends the relevant text, recipe context or audio to the configured AI provider through Vercel AI Gateway. We use Vercel for hosting and Neon for PostgreSQL storage. Using the plugin also involves ChatGPT under OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy.
Improving the product
The website records visits and recipe, preparation and AI usage events to understand how Ponto is used. Saving conversation examples for improvement is optional and disabled by default. You can change this in Preferences. The plugin does not request or store chat transcripts for training.
Retention and control
Website analytics, authorized conversation examples and support messages are retained for up to 90 days. OAuth access tokens expire after one hour and refresh tokens after 30 days; expired technical records are removed by scheduled cleanup. Account and cooking data remain until you request deletion. Provider infrastructure logs follow their own retention settings.
Your choices
Disconnect an application in Connected applications, change optional conversation consent in Preferences, or contact Ponto Support to request access, correction or deletion of your data. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request.
